Elaine Currie

 

 

A Mass-licensed instructor since 1990, Elaine is a combined training rider who started riding seriously as an adult.  That journey has progressed from trail riding through hunt seat competition, dressage and combined training.  With over 30 years of riding experience, Elaine has trained with Suzi Gornall, Tuny Full, Karl Mikolka, and others.

Elaine's approach stresses the importance of balance and a strong position;  understanding horse behavior;  safe handling techniques; developing trust and a good working relationship between horse and rider.
 

Elaine teaches adults and understands the issues adults face when learning to ride.  You can start riding at any age, but the methods must be adapted to your learning style and physical strengths and weaknesses.  Lessons can be scheduled to accommodate a busy life.
